If boiling pasta is a hassle for you, don’t miss this! Even when you don’t have the energy to cook, you can easily make delicious pasta with tomato sauce in just a few minutes. There is no need to boil a large pot of water to cook pasta. Instead, just put the hard pasta into the Hot Cook pot before boiling. The key to the flavor is salt. I used the amount of salt recommended by Ms. Kazuyo Katsuma.
There are times when boiling a large pot of water to boil pasta is too much work. In such cases, we recommend this recipe.
Put the hard pasta into the Hot Cook pot before boiling. At that time, fold the pasta in half by hand and place it in the inner pot.
In this way, the pasta is only one-half of the original length, so it will not be too short to eat.
If you really want to eat it after twisting the pasta around your fork in a traditional way, it might be better to boil it separately, even if it is too much to do. However, this cooking method is excellent when you don’t have much energy to cook, so please try the one-half the length pasta.
The key to the flavor is salt. For this recipe, I used the amount of salt recommended by Ms. Kazuyo Katsuma. The amount of salt advised by Ms. Kazuyo Katsuma is “0.6% (=0.006) salt to the weight of the ingredients and water.
In this tomato sauce pasta, the weight of the ingredients used for two servings is about 900g, so the amount of “salt” used for seasoning is about 5.0g (= about 900g X 0.006).
