It takes about 10 minutes, including preparation. I used commercial yakisoba noodles for three people at once.

With a frying pan, it takes much effort to fry all the ingredients including vegetables, and loosen the noodles. But with the Hot Cook, you can just leave everything. The noodles and other ingredients are deliciously made with this recipe.

I put cabbage, pork belly, bean sprouts, and seasonings into the pot in that order.

When I finished putting everything in, the volume was so much that it almost overflowed the pot. So, I was a little worried about whether I would be able to cook it properly. But it turned out to be OK!

I recommend using pork belly and a little olive oil (or salad oil).

It is not necessary to add water. The water from the cabbage and bean sprouts will fry the noodles just fine.

Of course, you can use the “powdered sauce” that comes with commercial yakisoba noodles, but this time I seasoned the noodles with the seasonings of my recipe. It is delicious, so please give it a try.

I made it for 3 servings (3 balls of noodles), but if you want to make it for 1 or 2 servings, adjust the amount of ingredients and seasonings proportionally. However, you can still use the same “5 minutes” for the cooking time in the Hot Cook.

Hot Cook Recipe [Yakisoba] One Point Advice

  • When adding the noodles to the pot, break them up by hand before adding them to the pot.
  • I did not use the “powdered sauce” that comes with commercial yakisoba noodles but seasoned the noodles with my recipe of seasonings. It is delicious, so please give it a try.

Hot Cook Recipe [Yakisoba] Ingredients: 3 people

◆Ingredients

  • Pork belly: about 200g * Cut into bite-size pieces
  • Cabbage: 1/4 piece * Cut into chunks
  • Bean sprouts: 1 bag
  • Commercial yakisoba noodles: 3 balls
  • Olive oil: 1 teaspoon *Salad oil can be used

◆Seasonings

  • Sake: 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
  • Worcester sauce: 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce: 2 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper: a pinch

◆Finishing

  • A pinch of red ginger or aonori (green sprouts) to taste

Hot Cook Recipe [Yakisoba] How to make

STEP 1:Prepare ingredients
  • Cut up pork belly and cabbage.
  • Prepare bean sprouts and yakisoba noodles.
  • Prepare seasonings.
STEP 2:Put all ingredients in the Hot Cook inner pot
  • First, add olive oil and cabbage, then spread pork belly on top.

  • Next, add bean sprouts.

  • Finally, add the noodles, loosen them by hand, and add all the seasonings.

STEP 3:Press the cook menu button♪

Make manually => Fry => Set cooking time to “5 minutes” => Start

STEP 4:Complete!

When you hear the finishing chime, open the lid, mix it up, and place it in a bowl to serve.

A pinch of red ginger or aonori (green sprouts) to taste.

I plan to use the “powdered sauce” that comes with the store-bought yakisoba noodles, which I did not use on another occasion.

I will publish another article when I make it!

This “yakisoba” is made in a fluorine-coated inner pot of the Hot Cook. Stir-fry dishes are also done well without sticking to the bottom of the pot.

Please consider purchasing one if you do not have a fluorine-coated inner pot!
