★★★★★ Cooking Time: 30 min. Preparation 10 min. + Hot Cook 20 min.
Hot Cook is likely to become an unbeatable perfect cooking utensil, which is “Easy, Quick and Delicious”.
It was after 22:00 PM on Saturday night when we started making Tomato Risotto, which was our first cooking using Hot Cook.
Ordinarily, it was time to get the delivery of pizza or Chinese, or go out to eat Ramen Noodle.
However, it was our memorial day that Hot Cook came to our home, so we decided to try making a dish.
Ingredients (for 4 people)
- Wash-free rice: 1 go (about 150 g)
- Tomato boiled can: 1/2 cans
- Onion (chopped): 1/4 pcs
- Shimeji (divided into small bunches): 1 pack
- Sausage: about 3-4 pcs
- Garlic (chopped): 1 pc
Seasoning
- Consomme: 1 teaspoon
- Butter: 15g
- Water: 300ml
- Salt and pepper: a little
- Parmesan cheese and Tabasco: as you like
How to Make It
STEP 1: Prepare Ingredients
- In the case of non-washed rice, it is not necessary to wash. We always buy non-washed rice to save time.
- Tomato can was whole tomato type, so I cut it lightly.
- Mince the onion. It seems it is fine even if the chopped onion is the large cut since it becomes soft after cooking.
- Sausage is cut into bite size.
- It is easier if you use bottled or tube garlic.
STEP 2: Put all Ingredients in the Hot Cook Inner Pot
Place all the ingredients prepared in STEP 1 into the inner pot of Hot Cook.
It seems it is better to put them in the order written in the recipe book as much as possible. Hot Cook is basically “Anhydrous Cooking” that does not use water. There are some menus in which water is used such as tomato risotto that we are making tonight or soup.
However, Hot Cook is basically cooked with moisture that comes naturally by heating the ingredients mainly vegetables.
Therefore, the bottom of the ingredients (first ingredients to be placed in the inner pot) to be placed in the Hot Cook inner pot should be basically vegetables.
Tonight’s tomato risotto uses water, so the order of ingredients in the pot may not have to be according to the recipe book.

Wrap Up
How was the taste of the dish we made with Hot Cook for the first time? … It was very amazingly tasty!
We could fully appreciate the sweetness of onions, the taste of mushrooms, and the taste of sausages. We tried it with Parmesan cheese and Tabasco, and it was also pretty good.
You could use other mushrooms besides shimeji mushroom, which should be equally good. Anything that can be obtained when you cook such as eringi or shiitake mushroom should be quite good.
Mushrooms are delicious even if they are frozen, so we buy a lot of mushrooms when they are cheap and keep them in small portions in a freezer.
If you freeze it, umami (savory) of mushrooms will be condensed and it is convenient to use because you can use them while they are frozen.
I used Hot Cook for the first time tonight, but it was really convenient because I was able to do other things while Hot Cook is cooking the dish.
You don’t have to worry about turning up or down the heat because Hot Cook is cooked using electricity.
We don’t have to go and check if the pot is burnt or if it’s too hot, so it is really convinient.
I look forward to making next dish with Hot Cook!
